Just Jigsaws is a small family manufacturing business, established in 1973. It was started by John and Jacqueline Trowsdale at the family home in Luton.

The first puzzle that a child normally begins with. The peg is designed for little hands to grip well to aid placement. Some have pictures underneath to further help completing the puzzle.

Just Jigsaws is a small family manufacturing business, established in 1973. It was started by John and Jacqueline Trowsdale at the family home in Luton.
Their garage and shed were the workshops. Their attention to detail and quality quickly found them in demand and they soon moved to an Industrial unit in central Luton. Their son Tony joined the firm in 1979. In 1989 they moved to a factory unit in Alfreton, Derbyshire, England.
Although sadly John and Jackie are no longer with us, the principles of Quality, Service and Value are still core to the next generations. Tony, his wife Vanessa and their son John run the business today alongside fantastic staff that believe in the same principles.
Maybe all the way back in in 1971 anyway - our founder, John Trowsdale, set out to break a world record. After a joint effort of hand crafting what was then the world's largest Jigsaw puzzle, he did just that. The puzzle was built up of a staggering 32,000 pieces - most of which were cut by himself!
One of the times that we had TV cameras at the factory - Phil Spencer visited us to film for “Kirstie & Phils’ Perfect Christmas”. What a great day for all those involved.
